The McLean Citizens Association, in collaboration with the Great Falls Citizens Association, cordially invites all voters in the greater McLean and Great Falls areas to a debate between the Democratic Party and Republican Party candidates for the 10th Congressional District seat, John Foust and Barbara Comstock, respectively. The debate is scheduled from 3:00-4:30 PM on Sunday, October 26 at the Alden Theater in the McLean Community Center.
With the retirement of long-serving Congressman Frank Wolf, the race for Virginia’s 10th Congressional District seat in the House of Representatives likely will be one of the most closely watched races in the United States.
Both John Foust and Barbara Comstock are “hometown” candidates who live in McLean. This is a unique opportunity to hear why they want to represent us, and how they propose to help solve the complex and difficult challenges facing our region and our country.
The MCA and GFCA will collect written questions from the audience at the start of the debate. Following brief opening remarks, the candidates will be asked to respond to as many questions as time permits.
Please come and invite your friends and neighbors to join us for what promises to be an informative and important debate just prior to Election Day on November 4, 2014!
Please Note: Seating is limited to the Alden Theater capacity
Doors open at 2:40 PM
