Join us on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at 7:30 am for our Small Business Education Series, co-sponsored by the SBA and Lafayette Federal Credit Union. At this seminar you will: 

• Learn about the resources provided by state and federal agencies that business can use to offer their goods and services to prospective customer globally
• Learn some basics about export trade finance, methods of getting paid and ways to mitigate the risk of doing business with customers outside the USA

The presentation will be lead by Bill Houck, Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager of SBA's Office of International Trade. A continental breakfast will be provided.

About Bill Houck
Bill Houck has 27 years international trade finance, trade credit insurance and international corporate credit risk management experience.  He’s held management positions with the Export Import Bank of the United States and private sector concerns specializing in asset based lending, corporate credit card risk management and global capital market originations.   Bill is currently SBA’s Office of International Trade Regional Manager for the Mid-Atlantic region.  He is based out of the Northern Virginia Export Assistance Center in Arlington, VA.
