Tutoring Club of McLean is pleased to announce the first workshop in its college planning series - ACE YOUR COLLEGE APPS - a complimentary workshop aimed at college-bound high school juniors and seniors and their parents.
Students will come away from this workshop with a better idea of what college admissions officers are looking for in applicants and how to maximize their
chances of admission by developing a strong college application package. The presenters will give students advice on developing a realistic college list
and will provide helpful resources to aid students in researching their "best
match" colleges where they can thrive and succeed. Students will also learn how to craft a memorable personal essay that highlights the qualities and traits that colleges seek in applicants.
Whether you are a high school senior in the thick of applying, or a junior just starting to research colleges, this hands-on workshop will have something for you.
