The McLean Citizens Association cordially invites members and interested citizens and businesses in the greater McLean area to a panel discussion about: “Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Recovery in McLean: What You Can do.” Wednesday, September 17th from 7-9 pm at the McLean Community Center. A panel of Fairfax County Public Safety experts will provide critical information regarding what you can do.
The panelists for the discussion include:
“Preparing for the Unexpected: Building a Resilient Community” David McKernan, Director of the Fairfax County Office of Emergency Management)
“Prepare, Plan, Observe, Communicate, and Stay Informed During Emergencies.” Captain Paul Norton, Commander of the McLean District Station of the Fairfax County Police Department
“Safety in our Community: Preventing the 911 Call” - Richard R. Bowers Jr., Chief of the Fairfax County Fire Department
“Enhancing Nursing Home Emergency Preparedness” Marc Barbiere, Emergency Management Coordinator of the Fairfax County Department of Public Health
