    Washington legend John Eaton is considered one of the foremost interpreters of American music, not to mention one of America's true musical treasures. A pianist, vocalist, musicologist and humorist, Eaton specializes in jazz renditions of tunes from the Great American Songbook, particularly those of composers such as George Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and Duke Ellington. Eaton and his guest, renowned bassist Tommy Cecil, will perform jazz, blues and Broadway songs, while Eaton punctuates the music with his trademark witty, astute commentary.
