Langley High School Senior Ethics Forum, to be held on May 21, 2015, is an annual event challenging young adults to engage in ethical decision making.
Students spend the day working through ethical dilemmas, learning ethical behavior and how decision making will affect their adult lives. Students discuss topics including bystander intervention, driving while intoxicated, the ethical use of technology and social media, and issues involved when making decisions for others in a national, community, and individual context.
Gannett generously hosts the event at their headquarters building in McLean. Donations are needed to help cover the cost of lunch and transportation for the students. We are also seeking volunteer table leaders to facilitate small group discussion with the students at this full-day event which takes place on May 21st from 7:45am-1:45pm. No special experience is required, just your valuable life experiences as engaged and contributing members of our community.
Involvement from members of the Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce will greatly enhance the success of the Senior Ethics Forum. Your investment of time and/or resources will positively impact graduating seniors and help prepare them for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Sponsorship opportunities are as follows:
- Gold - $500+ Recognition during event closing ceremony, company listed in the program materials, signage at event, and in the Langley High School newsletter.
- Silver - $250+ Company listed in the program materials, signage at event, and in the Langley High School newsletter.
- Bronze - $100+ Company listed in the program materials and in the Langley High School newsletter.
