    Event Description:
    The McLean Historical Society invites you to attend its June meeting to hear from noted local historian Carole Herrick as she discusses her new book Hickory Hill, McLean, Virginia: A Biography of a House and Those Who Lived There.  The book documents the building family, the Walters, and those that have occupied the home since, including the Lyons, Jacksons and Kennedys. 

    Ms. Herrick serves as Chair of the Fairfax County History Commission and vice president of the McLean Historical Society.  The author of numerous histories, she frequently lectures on historical topics around the Washington area.
