    The McLean Symphony presents a major work of the classical repetoire, Beethoven's 6th Symphony ("Pastoral"), then leaps forward in time to present compositions by Reston native Brian Scarbrough, and by Fritz Velke, former Fairfax County high school music teacher. Ludwig van Beethoven, Symphony No. 6 in F major, Op.68 (“Pastoral”); Fritz Velke, Suite for String Orchestra; Brian Scarbrough, Symphony No. 1 in E minor.
