McLean Area AAUW invites the public on November 15 to hear author Veronica Li share the story in her comic-drama novel Confucius Says, based on her experiences caring for her elderly parents. The book explores Chinese-American culture and Confucius’ philosophy on elder care and our own aging, but also universal truths shared by all. The book is an Eric Hoffer Book Award finalist. The meeting is at 7:00 p.m., with Ms. Li speaking at 7:30 p.m., at the McLean Community Center. November is National Family Caregivers Month.
