Leveraging roots in traditional bluegrass, East of Monroes music explores swing, country, folk, pop, jazz, and b luegrass. Extensive experience and tight vocal harmony, together w ith fresh original songwriting, combine to offer a brand new and u nique sound on the American acoustic music scene. Band members W ally Hughes, Lisa Kay Howard, Jackie Frost, Richard Ward, Billy B udd, and Gary Ferguson will bring an entertaining evening to the B luegrass Barn. Doors open at 6pm, concert starts at 7pm. The series a t the park's Visitor Center is sponsored by the Friends of Frying P an Park and Vienna hardwoods in cooperation with the Fairfax County P ark Authority.
