    Please join us for a virtual briefing on Fairfax County's economic and budgetary situation in light of the pandemic. Supervisor Foust will discuss economic conditions and various initiatives of the County. Christina Jackson, Director of the Office of Management and Budget, will review the fiscal position of, and outlook for, the County.



    About the Speakers
    Supervisor John Foust has represented the Dranesville Magisterial District on the Board of Supervisors since 2008.  At present, he is Chairman of the Board's: Economic Advisory Commission; Economic Initiatives Committee; and Housing Committee.  He also serves as Vice-Chairman of the Board's Budget Policy Committee and its Health and Human Services Committee.  Additionally, he serves the Board regionally as a representative on the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission, and as a member of Board Interjurisdictional Committees for the Town of Herndon (as Chairman), the City of Falls Church and Arlington County.  A longtime, active citizen of McLean, Supervisor Foust holds degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and The George Washington University Law School.

    Christina Jackson has served as the Director of the Fairfax County Office of Management and Budget since July 2019.  Previously she had been the Deputy Director, and has served the County for over 16 years.  As Director, she is responsible for managing the County's annual budget process, including forecasting, setting guidelines, reviewing agency requests, and developing and presenting proposals.  She also coordinates the County's bond sales and its Capital Improvement Program.  Ms. Jackson holds degrees from Duke University and the University of North Carolina.
